Our responsibility for the environment and sustainable development
We aim to help transform the logistics industry and create solutions that benefit both the environment and our customers. Our work includes everything from energy efficiency to smart transport solutions. We have raised our level of ambition and strive to gradually reduce emissions from our own operations while developing sustainable alternatives together with our customers.
Climate roadmap 2030
We want to contribute to a transformation of the logistics industry and minimize climate impact. Therefore, we have raised the level of ambition and are working to be climate neutral by 2030 with regard to emissions generated in our own operations (scope 1 and 2) and to greatly reduce emissions from scope 3. We have developed an overall climate roadmap with the aim of identifying and clarifying what we need to implement in order to reach our goals.
The climate roadmap actions are adapted to each site and office to ensure they are integrated into daily operations and aligned with local conditions. We also collaborate with our customers in order to ensure that we also reach their goals.
Local initiatives for stronger environmental work
To achieve group-wide goals, we implement local improvement initiatives related to environmental work. Every office and logistics site reports at least two initiatives annually to improve local environmental responsibility. Our decentralized organizational structure and diverse operations require us to adapt efforts to local conditions. We see this as an important part of integrating environmental responsibility into daily operations, increasing understanding of these issues, and engaging the entire organization. Everyone’s contribution is crucial for reaching our goals.
Digital tools to reduce CO₂e emissions in real time
Within Logent Transport Management, we have developed a tool that enables real-time monitoring of CO2e emissions for our customers’ transport solutions. This allows for a systematic improvement process where we identify development areas together with our customers and strengthen sustainable logistics.
